Situated in the elevated village of Fontainho, close to the Rio Cabril and surrounded by majestic mountains.
Our home can accommodate up to 6 adults in 3 en-suite bedrooms and is located at the end of a quiet country lane surrounded with fields with tendered crops.
The village of Fontainho only consists of a few granite farmhouses, nearby is Cabril with its beautiful Salamonde Reservoir ( great for trout fishing).
Cabril offers several places to eat, a mini market, several cafes, a bakery and church.
A daily bread van and twice weekly green grocer will call by the village of Fontainho bringing freshly baked bread to your door.
Our home is decorated to a high standard, with a fully fitted kitchen with a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer and built in oven and microwave.

If you require maid service during your holiday this can be provided, at an extra cost payable directly to our housekeeper Fatima.
We speak, English and Portuguese Fluently and speak some French and German too.
We are sorry but Casa da Fontainho Cabril does not accept stag or hen parties or bookings where the lead person is under the age of 25
Rates
We have seasonal weekly rates and special weekend rates, low season rates so please contact me for prices. We also require a 200• security deposit this is to be paid to our housekeeper fatima on arrival when she gives you the keys and will be refunded on the day of your departure, providing there are no major breakages or damage to our home.
